Mila Kunis - I had such high expectations after the SAG's. Disappointed that she didn't do something different because she's young and she can. Reminded me of the Renee Zellweger and Carolina Herrera rut.

A Frank Discussion about Love

Happy February everyone. I just love February. I love, love. So how could I not appreciate this month? One year Aimee dated a guy who rebelled against V-Day because he said it was a thinly veiled attempt to disguise consumerism. Are you one of those? He ended up buying flowers like the week after. :/

Love can be a tricky thing.

These past three weeks at work we have been undergoing team evaluations. Each week one of us is reviewed by the team and then we have an honest discussion about areas of strength and weakness. Today was my turn on the chopping block. I didn't learn what I didn't already know about myself. But sometimes it's hard to hear that you still need to work on the same ole things.

I appreciate my team. They are honest and yet gentle. I respect them for not holding back. Being on that side of the fence, I learned that it is much easier to receive the hard stuff when the intention is based in love. Jesus was full of love. Everything he did was characterized by love. I wonder what percentage of my life is done in love?
