I Believe

Working for her room and board. :p

I drove to Michaels today which is only significant because it is 12 minutes away. A cool 8 minutes longer than I've driven yet. Each time I drive my back screams in protest, but each time I know that while I may be losing the battle, I'm winning the war.

About a month ago a friend of mine came all the way out to Valencia to pray over me. And while I have never experienced a miraculous healing, it wasn't because I didn't think it was possible. And while I wasn't healed on the spot, I can say that the day she prayed for me is the day I began to get better. She committed to pray for me for 40 days after that and it is within that forty days that my back became stronger.

More on this later, when I can fully explain my thoughts. Just wanted you to know that my insides, my soul, are so thankful for this dear friend, and for a God who has the power to heal - if only we believe.

Thank You Jesus

Today was a big day. For the first time in two months, I DROVE. Yiiiiiippppppeeeeeeeeeeeee!

We went to a park.

And then celebrated our raging success with a first taste of Jamba Juice.

Today was a good day. A really, really, really good day. Thank you Jesus.

What Was.

My inbox is driving me crazy. Since I haven't been on the computer the emails are just piling up and it's reached a point of no return.

Maybe I'll just start a new email. :p

Parenting continues to add more and more layers. We've added consistency in discipline to our daily parenting lives. And while it is proving to be an exhausting new addition, I must say, this age is truly magnificent. Just the other day we stepped outside during the rain and watching her discover the drops falling on her arm was, in and of itself, amazing.

Here she is walking around holding hands with Noe-girl and wearing a crown she refused to take off.

And yesterday, for the first time, she took her morning 'baba' by herself. And while this may not seem that significant, you find that each small step leads to big changes. Then before you know it, what was is exactly that, was.

Sweet love to you all.

Meanwhile

Thankfully Josh had last week off so I didn't have to do much heavy lifting. Slowly and surely I am getting stronger.

Meanwhile, my one and a half year old seems to have reached the terrible 2's a little early. ;) Here she is in a timeout. I try to keep a straight face like all the books say to, but she kills me looking at me like this. I just want to cave and gobble her up in kisses.

P.S. Incredible how they actually stay in the spot isn't it??

Happy Monday ya'll.
