Josh had never been to Palm Springs, and I had only been for work. It was a 45 minute drive from Joshua Tree so we decided to stop there for a night before heading home.
We found a deal at The Colony Palms. Rates are good right now because of the heat (hint hint).
It was blissfully air conditioned and the bed super comfy. The salt water pool was open all night so we laid on the beds while exploring the stars with Google Sky. It was amazing.

When we got back we checked into a hotel near LAX while family stayed at moms. After they left we moved back to moms and now we are out in the valley again for the rest of the week. Phew!
We are tired of living out of our suitcases. Moving day is Saturday morning, can't wait.
